SPDC uses DKBA to suppress monks leading protest

About 20 trucks full load of Democratic Karen Buddhist Army ( DKBA )
Soldiers , with full of arms and ammunitions left for Burma’s Rangoon
( Myanmar’s Yangon ) last night said close to DKBA.

“Bumese junta use DKBA for their securities purpose since DKBA joint
hands with SPDC in 1994 .” said a man close to DKBA who requested for anonymity.

DKBA had split from the main Karen Christian rebel group,Karen Nation Union ( KNU ) after conflict with pro – junta monk U Thuzana who tried
to build a pagoda on the Tu Mwe Hta hill which was strategically important for KNU army near Salaween and Taung Yin river junction opposite of Thailand’s Sob Moei district.

A source from Karen State’s capital Pa – An said a bout 20 Toyota tiger trucks in camouflage came from direction of Kaw Ka Reik district led for Rangoon at the mid – night.

“ I saw full load of DKBA soldiers with full arms and ammunition. Because those trucks pass by my house,” said the witness.

A Major who spoke on the condition of anonymity from DKBA Kalo Htoo Baw military strategic office denied it.

“ No the people thought all soldiers in camouflage are DKBA soldiers in fact ,those soldiers were from Burma army brigade 22 stationing in Pa - An led for Rangoon last night.”
