Thai police and municipal officials bullying Thai poor vendors

Mae Sot police and municipal officials in Tak procvince’s Mae Sot district have been bullying Thai poor vendors at Phar Charoen Market .

The police and municipal officials fine the Thai vendors at the Phar Charoen market accusing of causing traffic jam.

In fact ,causing of traffic jam is of Mae Sot municipal chairman and his fellows supporters rented in front of their houses to the way side stall dealers who occupied the edge of the road said the vendors.

“Although the rented shops in front of Mae Sot municipal chairman house and his fellows supporters houses opposite of Phar Charoen markets are breaking the law and yet they have not been taken action.The officials blind eyes on them and point blankly suppressing us”, said vendors. “ The entrance of Pha Waw hospital is absolutely blocked with the shops.Mae Sot police chief and party have already checked it that place and did nothing .” the vendors added.

“ It is surprised of our Thailand’s constitution which allow uniform wearing people to suppress on the poors”, said the vendors .

Therefore,we would like to request to international human right organization to
look after helpless the Thai poors for justice,said the Thai vendors.
